Suzanne L. Disheroon, Ph.D.

Instructional Design, Instuctor-led Training, Technical Writing

My experience in instructional design and technical writing span more than 20 years.  I have completed contract projects for industries including nuclear power, including drafting large portions of their NRC re-accreditation report; sub-prime mortgage lending; software training for end-users and team members; and alcohol sales.  I spent 3+ years at Uber as an Instructional Designer and Associate Program Manager, where I created numerous learning artifacts, including eLearning, ILT decks, job aids, and shadowing scripts.

At EquitiFy, I managed and executed all instructional design activities, including scripting, storyboarding, creating eLearning using current authoring tools, and managing voiceover artists, video actors, and video editors to ensure excellence in the quality of video training.

Additionally, I have taught technical and business writing at institutions of higher education including the University of North Texas, Northwestern State University of Louisiana, DeVry University, and Dallas College, Cedar Valley Campus.  I have also taught literature, composition, and humanities courses. Further, I have published 9 books and over 40 articles in scholarly and general interest publications.

My software skills include Articulate Rise and Storyline, Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe CC (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro), Captivate, Synthesia, Vyond, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.  I have earned certifications in eLearning development from the Association of Talent Development, along with AI Fundamentals and SCORM/xAPI.

Outside of work, I watch my Texas Rangers win baseball games every chance I get, write creative fiction and children’s books, and hang out with my wonderful husband, children, and grandchildren.
